Summary
If your goal is to stop being billed, you do not need to delete your account. You only need to cancel your subscription.
If you’ve cancelled your subscription, we automatically and periodically delete inactive accounts. So as long as you’re not actively logging in, your account will go through our standard inactive cleanup process.
If you still need your account permanently deleted, we can help, but it must be requested through support.
Account deletion is a manual process and may take 30–60 days to complete.
Step 1: If you want to stop billing (recommended)
To stop billing, cancel your subscription in the Stripe Billing Portal:
Click the Alphana logo in the top-left.
Click your profile email address (dropdown menu).
Click Billing.
Click the Billing Portal tab.
Click Open Billing Portal to open Stripe.
Cancel your subscription in Stripe.
Once cancelled, you will stop being billed going forward.
Note: After cancelling, you don’t need to do anything else. If you stop logging in, your account will eventually be removed through our inactive account cleanup process.
Step 2: If you still want your account permanently deleted
If you need your account permanently deleted, we can help, but it must be requested through support.
Request deletion through in-app support
Log into the Alphana account you want deleted.
Open the in-app support chat.
Select Talk to a human (or Ask for a human).
Request permanent account deletion.
Important
Your deletion request must come from the same email address that is on the account. We can’t delete an account for an email address you’re not logged into.
