Currently, Alphana doesn’t offer an automatic way to export transcripts without timestamps/timecodes or speaker labels, but here’s how you can get a plain text version:
Within Alphana:
Manually select the text in your transcript, from the top down to the bottom.
When you release, a dropdown menu will appear with these options: Edit, Delete, Copy Timestamps, Copy Text.
Choose Copy Text—this will copy only the transcript text, without including timestamps or speaker labels.
Note: Don’t worry if timestamps and speakers appear highlighted while selecting; the “Copy Text” option will ignore those elements when copying.
With a little effort, you can use this method to copy the entire transcript.
If you prefer an alternate method, you can also paste the full transcript into a tool like ChatGPT or Claude and ask it to remove timestamps and speaker labels for a fully clean version.
