Visuals.fm Release Notes - 07.03.2026

Repair work. Songs and videos that got stuck partway through uploading now finish and repair themselves, album covers and posters behave like every other asset, and text generation works again on the newest models.

What's New in Visuals

This release is repair work. There's nothing new to learn here, just a list of things that were broken and now work.

The big one is uploads. Songs and videos you uploaded could get stuck partway through and never finish. That's fixed.

Uploads that get stuck now fix themselves

Before, you'd upload a song or a video and it could stall partway through processing. It never finished, and you were left with an asset you couldn't use. Nothing you did made it move.

Now uploads recover on their own when something goes wrong along the way. Uploads that were already left half-finished get repaired too. So if you have a song or a video sitting in your library that never came out the other side, go look at it again.

Short version: uploads get stuck less, and when they do get stuck, they fix themselves.

Album covers and posters work like the rest of your library

Album covers and posters were the odd ones out. They didn't favorite, share, or filter the way your other assets do, so you had to treat them differently for no good reason.

They've finished moving onto the same system as everything else in My Library. Favoriting, sharing, filtering, and the asset viewer all behave the same for them as they do for your images and videos.

The asset viewer got a fix of its own. It used to dump your whole prompt into an asset's title, so a title could run on for a paragraph. It shows a proper title now.

Cards show what they'll cost before they run (Alpha preview)

This was in alpha preview at the time, available to a small group. It's open to everyone now.

Each card on the visual canvas got a price tag. A card shows what it will cost in credits, and how many cards downstream of it will run, before anything starts. No guessing what a run is about to spend.

Also fixed

  • The "Generating..." placeholder behaves. It used to vanish before your finished video showed up, or stick around after it was already there. Now it stays put until the video appears, then it goes away.

  • Text generation works again on the newest Opus and Gemini models. It was broken. It's fixed.

  • The motion video page no longer crashes.

  • Explore is readable again if you're not signed in.
