New: Lyrics & Captions Editor

We rebuilt the lyrics and captions editor from the ground up. You can now precisely align timing with a visual waveform, edit in a distraction-free full-screen view, and bring your own caption files.

  • New full-screen editing view that focuses your workspace for drafting and syncing

  • Waveform timeline with every word shown as a draggable pill positioned at its exact timestamp

  • Drag pill edges to adjust start or end timing, or drag the middle to shift a word

  • Click any word to preview that segment and open a timing editor popover with mini timeline and play controls

  • Time ruler synced with the waveform and pills

  • Transport controls for skip to start or end, skip ±15 seconds, and play or pause

  • Zoom with scroll wheel, slider, or keyboard shortcuts (Cmd+= / Cmd+−)

  • Works for songs, videos, and transcripts

  • Find and replace to correct multiple words in bulk

  • Edit speaker names for multi-speaker content

  • Upload your own SRT, VTT, or JSON caption files to override AI-generated captions

  • Revert to the original AI transcription even after closing and reopening

  • Clickable retry if source sync fails

New: Expandable Prompt Editor

In the Images, Motion Videos, and Show Posters flows, you can now expand the prompt box for more editing space.

  • Click the expand icon in the sidebar prompt box to open it in a full-screen modal window

  • Draft and edit longer prompts without being constrained by the sidebar width

New: Lyric Video Settings

More control over how lyrics appear in your lyric videos.

  • Toggle to enable or disable lyrics before generating

  • Choose between static lyrics or word-by-word animations

Improved: Smoother Video Playback

Videos across the app now stream adaptively instead of downloading full files, which is a meaningful upgrade on slow or flaky connections.

  • Adaptive streaming automatically drops to lower quality when your connection slows, keeping playback smooth instead of stalling

  • Applied across the library grid, explore feed, motion video creator, shared asset modal, and asset pickers

Improved: Media Library

Browsing and navigation in your library got a meaningful upgrade.

  • All your images and videos now appear in the library

  • Videos autoplay as you browse so you can preview content without clicking

  • Cleaned up the actions bar that appears on hover, with instant load

  • Explore and Canvas flows also got navigation and UX updates

Improved: Crossfade Transitions for Lyric Videos

When you select multiple assets for a lyric video, visualizer, or multi-scene video, clips now crossfade smoothly. This fixes the previous behavior where scenes would fade out to black before fading into the next scene.

  • Smooth crossfade transitions between image and video clips

  • Fixed the fade-to-black issue between scenes so transitions flow directly from one clip to the next

  • Ken Burns motion no longer glitches, which works great for images and slideshows

  • Videos no longer loop by default, and the final clip trims to fit total duration

Improved: Sidebar Prompt & Settings

The sidebar no longer overwrites your prompt. Your creative text stays exactly as you wrote it.

  • Settings (genre, mood, style, colors, decade, toggles, venue, dates) appear as removable tags below the prompt box

  • Song selection no longer auto-triggers the magic sequence. You click "Generate Prompt from Song" explicitly, with confirmation if you have existing content

  • Magic sequence is significantly faster with undo and cancel support

  • Artist and song names are excluded from video prompts to prevent copyright flags from generation models

  • For Motion Videos, model selection, quality, and duration controls are now positioned closer to the prompt box so you can configure key settings without scrolling

  • Warning modal before switching songs so you know your prompt and settings will be cleared first

New: Apple ProRes Export (Pro & Enterprise)

Export videos as Apple ProRes for professional-grade quality, ideal for editing in tools like Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

  • Higher fidelity than standard H.264 exports

  • Available on Pro and Enterprise plans

Improved: Upload Support

Bigger files, more formats.

  • 500MB image uploads (Pro and Enterprise plans)

  • 2GB uploads for music, audio, and video files

  • Added support for WAV audio uploads

Improved: Product Terminology

We renamed core terms across the app to better reflect the full range of what you can create.

  • "Album Covers" is now "Images" and "Canvas Videos" is now "Motion Videos"

  • Updated across buttons, labels, placeholders, error messages, and page metadata

Fixed

  • Resolved a bug that caused rapid light and dark mode flashing when Visuals was open in multiple tabs
