Short definitions of the words you will see across Visuals.
Building
Visuals Agent. The assistant beside the canvas. Describe what you want and it builds and runs the flow for you.
Visual canvas. The surface you build on. You place cards on it and draw connections so what one card makes feeds into the next.
Card. One step. An image card, a video card, an asset you uploaded, a Compose Video card, a Render card. Each card has its own model, prompt, and settings.
Connection. The line between two cards. It sends the output of one card into the input of the next.
Flow. A set of connected cards. Your recipe.
Project. A container for flows. Flows live inside projects.
Preset. A saved starting point for a look, an image, or a video. The Agent uses the same preset libraries you do.
Finishing
Composition. What you build in the video editor, on a timeline. Lyric videos and edits are compositions.
Compose Video card. Assembles clips into a cut on the canvas, with per clip timings, fill styles, and text overlays.
Render card. Turns that cut into a finished video file.
Render. A finished exported video. Renders land in My Library tagged MP4 or ProRes.
Storing
Asset. Any image, video, song, or voiceover in your account, whether you generated it or uploaded it.
My Library. Everything you own. Assets plus a Studio section holding your flows, projects, compositions, and renders.
Folder. An asset's one home. Folders can nest.
Collection. A grouping. One asset can sit in many collections without leaving its folder.
Smart collection. A collection that fills itself from a saved filter. It carries a Smart badge.
Catalog. Your music, organized as songs and albums, with every visual linked to each track.
Official. A status for finished visuals that are going out, as opposed to working versions.
Generating
Credits. What generation costs. Bigger models, higher quality, and longer video cost more. The price shows before a run.
Model. The AI that makes the image or video. You pick one per card.
Reference. Something you feed a model so it follows it: a reference image, a reference video, a first or last frame, or audio.
Extend. Continuing a finished clip so it grows into one longer file, up to 40 seconds.
Generation time. How long the model took to make an asset. Not to be confused with duration, which is how long the clip is.
Where things happen
Prompts and image references work on the generator pages and on the visual canvas.
Video references and audio inputs work on the visual canvas only.
Timeline editing, captions, and text styles happen in the video editor.
