My Library holds everything you own. The sidebar has All assets, Recent, Favorites, Pinned, Collections, Folders, Catalog, Trash, and a Studio section.
Studio
Studio holds the 4 things you build:
Flows from the visual canvas
Projects that your flows live in
Compositions from the video editor
Renders, your finished exports
Click Studio to see all 4, or pick one to narrow it down.
A flow that has not generated anything yet shows a small illustrated preview of itself: the title and each step as a little card, connected toward the output.
Folders vs collections
A folder gives an asset one home. Move things in, nest folders inside folders, drag to reorder. If a video is in a folder, that is where it lives.
A collection lets one asset appear in as many places as needed. Adding a video to a collection does not move it out of its folder. The same cover art can sit in a Q3 folder, a best of collection, and a pitch collection at once, with no duplicate copies.
Folders are for filing. Collections are for grouping.
A good default: one folder per release or per artist, then collections for anything that cuts across them.
Smart collections
Set up the filters you want and save them as a smart collection. Anything matching that rule shows up automatically from then on.
Example: a smart collection for approved vertical videos. Every approved vertical video you make from that point lands in it without you doing anything. Smart collections carry a Smart badge so you can tell them from ones you fill by hand.
Flows, projects, and compositions organize like assets
Drag them into folders and collections, several at a time
Pin the ones you are working on to the sidebar, one click from the editor
Favorite them with the heart
Rename by clicking the title on a card, in a list row, or in the detail panel. The new name shows everywhere, including inside the canvas and the video editor
Duplicate from the menu
Tag them and set a status: draft, in review, or approved
Link to a release, so they show on that release's page next to its other assets
Download everything it made by right clicking and taking every output as one zip
Click any of them to open a detail panel with an Outputs section showing everything that item produced.
Uploading
Drag files anywhere onto My Library and they upload. There is no upload button to find first.
Trash
Deleted things go to Trash and can be brought back. Trash also has a Delete forever option for when you mean it.
Exports land here
Every exported video lands in your library as a real asset, tagged MP4 or ProRes, with a Rendering card and live status while it works. Exports made before this shipped are not in the library.
ProRes files are large masters browsers cannot play, so they show a preview image and a download button.
